Most Common Problems When Using Herbalife

I am Feeling Hungry?


1. Not following the program correctly. It is unusual to feel hungry when following the program correctly. Be sure you are making the shakes correctly and not skipping meals. If you are still hungry, use 3 tablespoons of the of the Nutritional Protein Drink mix instead of 2. If you get hungry in the evening take an extra 1/2 a shake one hour before dinner.


2. Not Eating Properly. An Important part of the Herbalife Weight-Management Program is eating food! It is important to eat a healthy well-balanced diet. Hunger pains and cravings arise from skipping meals, not making shakes properly or eating inadequate amounts of protein.


I am feeling Nauseous?


1. Not following the Program Correctly. Be sure to take the tablets with shakes or meals as directed, not on an empty stomach. Nausea can also be a sign of detoxification. Be sure to follow the program as directed and drink at least eight glasses of water a day.


2. Headaches. Headaches can arise from low blood sugar or dehydration. Be sure to follow the program as directed and drink at least eight glasses of water a day.


I am Not Losing weight?


1. Not Measuring. Muscle is heavier than fat. Because of high the concentration of nutrients in Protein Drink Mix, some people exchange muscle weight for fat at an even rate for some time on this program. It is important to measure cm's as well as check weight because there are times when you lose cm's and not kg's. As long as you are losing cm's or kg's (or both) the program is working.


2. Cheating. People cheat on diets, Even ours. Are you drinking non diet soft drinks all day at 24 to 71 kilojoules each. Are you having one to three snacks a day which you forget about. One double cheese burger is at least 190 kilojoules. Even healthy snacks should not be eaten excessively. Remember a piece of fruit is about 19 kilojoules a piece. One way to find out if you are snacking or cheating is to write down everything you eat for 3 days and then see how many extra kilojoules you are consuming.


3. Not following the program as directed. Remember, the program calls for two shakes and one balanced meal per day with tablets as directed. Skipping meals can starve the body and slow down the metabolism. This can weaken the diet and lead to cheating. Not taking the tablets as directed can result in poor nutrition which can also sabotage the diet. So always remember to follow the program as directed.


I have Diarrhea?


Diarrhea can be caused by using whole milk in large quantities. Rather use diluted fruit juice in your shakes.


I have Constipation?


Substantial reduction of food can result in constipation if you are generally inclined to it. You need to increase the amount of fibre intake, which is primarily found in green leaves vegetables: lettuce, cabbage, cucumbers and tomatoes. It is also recommended to increase the intake of the Fibre and Herb tablets. It is also advised to use dried fruit like prunes or other natural means which could be found in any pharmacy.
